memory foam beds

opinions on memory foam beds appreciated, are they as comfy as they sound? whats the best, all foam or foam and pocket springs.

It's only the cheaper variety that can make people sweat. ethandron, and blimey Chuck - yours was a bargain!!!! The Tempur ones are good though.
Wouldn't swap ours for anything with springs now. It's like laying on a carpet of air - beautiful.

Thanks for all your replies, certainly sound good for the extra money. Theres a place locally that will do a 28 day trial to see if you like it, so think we will give that a go. I am of a certain age! so the sweaty bit worries me a little, as I dont need any help in that department!!!

ive got a full memory foam materess and there great although you may find in the summer you may sweat more this is because there are no springs for the air to go round apart from that there great i have a bad back and it helps think i paid 1200 quid but that was 3 years or so ago theyve obviously come down a lot now

ive got a memory foam mattress and i can tell you i will never sleep on springs again! the foam has sorted out my whiplash and its just like sleeping on fluffy cloud! GET ONE!
