Not sure why he left, but lets hope he gets to play Inspector Rebus. He is perfect for the role (no offence John Hanna but you are too young and clean cut)

Ken said in interviews that he was to leave after 3 series, but was persuaded to continue. He wants to move on now and create new characters. Look out for him in forthcoming BBC drama - THE KEY and ITV drama - PROMOTED TO GLORY...both airing soon!
