I'm using my new laptop today but it keeps making a whiring noise ever couple of minutes. Is this normal? My computer at home doesn't do this.

mines a packard bell too tigger and yeah mine keeps whirring aswell. i use it on a hard surface and have added little feet on the bottom to raise it up slightly to let the air circulate, but ive noticed nonot much change really, its still a bit whirry!
