automatic program start

I have a disc burning program on my laptop called Sonic digital media, it works fine in fact its too good, the problem is every time I put a disc into the drive it starts automaticly when I dont want it to, Can anybody tell me in laymans terms how to stop this please....

Open My Computer, right click on your disc drive and select the autoplay tab - you can then select the options you want.

I don't know this particular prog .... but I hate this type of "helpful" app

open the program and look in settings or options or properties (even the help option) . there should be an option to either
start with windows - or detect inserted disc - or something on those lines.

there could also be a shortcut in the startup folder in all programs

failing that - download this little helper (I kike this better than MSconfig)

and take the tick out of the autostartup options for this prog
if it affects your system (can't see it) just put the tick back in
