LGV Operators Licence

Does anyone have good knowledge about the licencing system for LGV's? How often does it have to be re-newed? Who can advise when one is due for re-newal, i.e. the council, the ministry? How can someone appeal against an operators licence application? All a bit complicated perhaps, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The licence runs indefinitely, unless it is revoked.
