I would like to buy some inexpensive deep dished dinner plates (colour immaterial) - dishwasher and microwave safe.  I've done a search and so far Ikea seems to offer the best deal but can't seem to find any others. Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried Matalan?
Im not sure if this would be out of your price range but debenhams do a lovely range of kitchen ware and things and sell them separately so you can just buy what you need! hope this helps xxx
Tescos sell these singly - they look similar to denby - green or blue on the underside and white on top.  I think they are about 2.50 each
I like habitat, they have a wide selection.
Our daughter recently bought some new white crockery from Sainsbury's, including very deep bowls. They are of really good quality & at very reasonable prices too.

Woolies is also worth a look.
