loads of paint on glass

our upstairs bedroom doors have a frosted glass on the top (above the doors) which the previous occupant has painted over, on both sides with white gloss paint....what is the quicket way to get it off

I was save myself a lot of hassle and take the measurements to the nearest glazier and buy a nice new piece of glass quite cheaply.

Use a scraper tool (basically a handle with a stanley knife blade at the end widthwise) .
