For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Yes a gridle is a pan- good for frying rump steaks on ;-) Yet, think a cooking pot can be generic for all kinds of cooking containers( including pans). Also, Northumbrian ( northern in the clue)sounds better than Cauldron. Is there a place up North called Cauldron? So methinks Northumbrian Gridle Cake is more plausible a soloution for 21 :-) Grasscarp - big hugs to you ;-) Warm wishes to all, Bea :-)
