Pc Help Needed

My computer has been playing up for a few days now....Someone has told me that I can reboot it from a few days back but it will wipe off any unsaved data, which im not bothered about...ive done this before, but cant remember how you do it, if someone could tell me it would be very much appreciated, thanks!

However, I'll just point out that (contrary to what 'someone' has told you) using System Restore doesn't wipe out any data files. Any documents, images, emails, music files, etc which you've acquired (or altered) since the restore date won't disappear. You'll only need to reinstall any programs which were installed after the restore date.

Go to control panel - help and support - click on - undo changes to your system with system restore.
Then tick the one that says create restore point. You will be asked to type a name for the restore point.
I usually put ALL OK.
It`s very handy if you need to restore again, if things go wrong you can go back to this point, knowing that all was working well.
