radiator fan

rover 200 T reg. radiator fan permantly stopping on but temp never over heating does it even when cold. any idea THANKS

It seems someone has by-passed the the switch due to it been faulty.

Reminds me of how a few years ago I bought a second-hand Clio diesel. I bought it from a garage and it was supposedly RAC inspected. It was constantly overheating, so after a while I took it to my local garage and they discovered that the fan was missing completely.
I never did get any satisfaction from the garage where I had bought it, they said get onto the RAC, but they only denied that their inspectors would miss such a thing and i ended up paying for a fan to be fitted.
