Well I wont be buying them coz I think they are vile sickly yucky horrible things - and they , their friend the chocolate easter bunny and other chocolate eggs should not be allowed in the shops until Good Friday at the earliest and all trace of them should be wiped from the earth by midnight on Easter Sunday - bah humbug x xx

I always buy organic eggs, so am just balancing things out by eating (chicken) shed loads of Creme Eggs.

2 per cent of the ingredients is egg whites. How do you know it's from battery hens?

I really don't know what everyone is so het up about,according to Cadbury's own site there is only 2% egg white in a Creme Egg!
If you care to study the ingredients of many cakes,biscuits,pies,etc you will see they contain MUCH higher percentages of egg white and yolks,and they don't state whether they are battery or not either.
If we looked at ALL the ingredients of our food we might not go on eating ANY of them!
