Now, cannot understand why Carol Thatcher will not apologise for her unkind + foolish comment about the French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga ?! It was totally unacceptable comparing him to a ********( a swear word to my ears). The whole term ******** is deeply offensive- not just to the black community yet to every race( am white yet my ancestors including everyone on this entire planet are black- scientifically proven). Find it deeply offensive that toy ********* are still sold in parts of the country, too!! ********* come from the Black and White Minstrels ( white people who dressed up as black people in the bizarre name of entertainment)deeply wrong + deeply embarrassing. Care not that she made that comment in the green room, off air, she still needs to make an apology to the viewers yet also to the tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga himself. She says it was a lighthearted joke- well it was not amusing, not big, not funny or clever + an apology is needed as soon as possible. What does everyone else think? Hugs, Bea :-)

Carol Thatcher is supposed to be an experienced journalist, yet comes out with a racist remark like this. She probably thinks all white people think like that. Ignorance seems to run in the family, her mother will be proud. Good for Adrian Childs if he did report her. But is it ok to call Welsh "Taffys" and the Scots "Jocks" or sweaty socks, and the irish "Paddy" ? nothing is ever said, but refer to any other race and you are Racist, was it really offensive? I am English and I live in Wales I have been called all sorts of things but none of it is said in a nasty or malicious way, the Uk is far too PC maybe it will change when the white British become the ethnic minority, and that will happen sooner rather than later.

Anyone can say what they like to Beatrice- matters not- water off a swan's back. Yet, will either ignore fools( why comment to someone who is shallow + only content to wallow in the shallows?) or will challenge those who think they are somehow entitled to ridicule or disrespect/dis others whether they be famous, infamous or just plain ignorant or nasty . We are all equals regardless of our colour or creed + we are brothers or sisters to everyone in this nation as well as everyone on this globe.
