Nasty odour
7 Answers
Have been attending meetings all week (with same 12 people) and there is a nasty sh1t odour in a well furnished conference room. I checked my shoes for dog's watsits & those beside me......but couldn't locate smell.
Another, 5 seats down, complained of same smell & we wondered if it could be due to someone with a colostomy bag? How do they work?

When in 'normal' use colostomy bags don't smell. - i doubt very much that the smell is comeing from onme of those! Prehaps one of your fellow attendees has a hygine issue and can't wipe their ar$e properly. - Good luck with the smell tracking, prehaps you should hire a sniffer dog. Xx
There is a particular type of food odour that smells absolutely foul. It is not like normal foot odour and sufferers can have injections to help it. I used to work with a sufferer and it was unbearable. He was perfectly clean and it was nothing to do with his personal hygiene.
My grandfather had a colostomy bag for 20 years and there were never any problems or smells. I agree with Hopey.

Are you sure it's someone rather than the smell being something in the room itself?
Bags don't tend to smell and if they did tear then I'm sure it would have had to have been sorted pdq.
Some people have to wear pads but, again, it's unlikely it would go on for that long unless someone really isn't looking after themselves properly.
The vents may well be worth checking.
