Has anyone actually contacted a dead relative, I have read many accounts of this happening (many books written by famous people) I don't know what to make of it,so I would like to know if it has happened to any of you. Only serious answers please.

my nan did come to me in a very bizarre dream and died in front of me, I woke up sweating, it was 5am on the monday( I looked at the clock) , a couple of days later my mom phoned me to tell me my nan died at around 5am on monday, as she told me my nans name(which was unusual) popped up on the recent posts on AB at the same time in all 4 post spots

I go to a Spiritualist Church sometimes and although nobody has ever come through with a message for me, people I have been with have had messages.

I do believe in it but I don't know/have any deceased relatives who are likely to contact me :-(

I occasionally get pipe smoke in my house,the smell lingers for a day or two. My father smoked a pipe and I find it comforting.

There was a ghost for sure in my parents' house - it was my father's first wife, who died in childbirth in that house. Lots of people saw her, even those who never knew of her or a ghost. She was never frightening.

When I had whooping cough very badly as a little un, she woke my mother up when I was choking on my vomit. :)

Both my parents came through to me. I had a private reading,all the reader knew was my 1st name. He told me not to tell him anything. He then said my parents were there with me and described them to a tee. amonst the messages was my dad saying his mind is fixed now ( Alzeimers) . The medium then clutched his stomach telling me my mum was showing him where the cancer had been. She said I should demand"That ring" from my sister,the red one. My mum always said the ring with the ruby was for me when she went but my sis took it. I've had message since at spiritualist churches. I go twice a year.

A month after my brother died I was taking my son to his grave and the usual road was closed and being 2 hours from home I hadn't a clue where to go. In frustration I shouted out if you want your nephew to vist you you'd better show me the way.

For some reason I can't explain it I did a u turn in the road (I don't know how we weren't killed thinking back) and drove along roads I'd never seen and arrived at the church yard.

I believe that was my brother showing me the way.
