Alternatively, try a bread poultice. Pour very hot water on to some crumbled bread. Mush it all up to a thick sticky paste. Put the paste on a bit of cloth and slap it on the spot. Try to keep it there for about half an hour. Again it should 'draw' the spot. Be careful with the poultice not to burn yourself...don't put it on too hot.
Good luck.

Instead of dabbing half the kitchen & bathroom on your face, try treating it from the inside. Drink gallons of water, eat lots of fruit & veg, take a multi vitamin & go to bed early.
Keep your face clean over the weekend & DO NOT touch it with your fingers.
This will make a difference in 2 days. It may not go completely by monday as skin needs time to heal. If you want to cover it up I recommend an excellent concealer by Benefit called Boing- no one will be able to tell.
Using other treatments aswell can't do any harm, but for heavens sake- dont use nail varnish remover!
Last bit of advice- excersise does wonders for your skin & may help as it boosts circulation.
