Power of Attorney - Locating what my name has been used for
17 years ago i signed Power of Attorney over to a family member. I left England and have not returned. I know accounts were opened in my name: Bank, stocks, shares property etc. I now believe they were used for personal financial gain. I wish to locate the accounts but HOW? I cannot locate my relative.

When you went, you presumably had bank accounts etc. You could go to the banks etc. you used then & ask them to trace whether they still hold any accounts for you.
You could use a Tracing Agent to try & track down the relative, &/or try to identify other relatives (through genealogical research if necessary) who might know where he/she is.

When i signed POA over I was young and naive with no reason not to trust my relative. I'm trying to find out what accounts my name has been used for, but I dont know how. Can anyone help?
I returned over the following 5 years, a couple of times per year. Since then i settled overseas and have not been back. It is only in the past couple of years that i started thinking back to the Power of Attorney.
