I have a Bosch Washing machine that is not 2 years old but it has recently stopped adding the 'comfort' into the wash. I have tried unblocking the tiny wholes that are inside the tray at the top where the water flows and also emptied the overflow compartment by the feet but still it does not feed into the wash??

Any other idea's before I call out an engineer that will cost a ridiculous amount for a simple job!!

Thanks!!

I've never owned a Bosch, but on every washing machine I have owned you can take out the tray where the powder and fabric conditioner go and clean out the whole tray and the area it goes into. I then put it onto a hot wash with no powder just to clean out the machine really well. It has always worked for me.
There is probably a siphon device to empty the Comfort into the drum. It is probably bunged up with gunge.
On my Bosch you can press a little blue tab down and pull out the powder tray.
I clean it in the sink but we were told it is dishwasher safe too. The blue siphon pulls out completely for cleaning.
