Washing Machine Problems

We really could use a Troubleshooting Category, please Ed or have I just not found it yet

New Bosch washing machine has stopped working - pressed all the right buttons but it won't start, turned it off then on, still no joy ( water is turned on, door closed properly, at first the panel was lit up ok, now no lights at all, so something's not happy - any ideas would be great

If it is still under warranty call the agents. Might be something very simple but if you tamper with it the warranty will become null and void

that's probably the most sensible thing to do, thanks Brinjal, I'll persuade himself not to pull it apart !!

Have you tried something very obvious like checking the fuse in the plug?

have a look at the fuse board maybe its tripped

Have you checked the fuse in the plug, seekeerz ?. It may have blown.

Perhaps this is a lesson to us all... Never throw away the instruction pamphlet to any electrical device, even if you think you know it all perhaps you don't.

You could try going on line to the makers telling them name & model & problem, they may help. Worth a try. Good Luck.
