i just bought a new laptop and have logged off today and now is asking for username and password and cant remember what i used !! is there any thing i can do to log back on pleaseeeee.

oh dear, not a lot, i couldn't find away round this when i was new to comps years ago and forgot my pass word i had to do a re-install of xp

You'll need another computer to make a bootable CD from the lick below, boot the vista computer from that CD and you should be able to change the password

Though not without risks using the above if it works all good, if it doesn't...... well you've not lost anything as you will still have to reinstall.

(it makes me chuckle the amount of times people do this... if your going to set passwords then remember them!!)

Use Ohpcrack it uses rainbow tables to find windows passwords google it and download the iso burn to disc and boot from it
