have you yanks only just got diet coke with lime? the ad was on all the time the last two weeks on wgn, viewed in the dominican republic! we have had it in the uk for months now. also, another coke product- dansani or whatever, the new bottled water. it was dropped big style over here cause it was found to contain more chemicals than the local tap water here. and as all of us brits will tell you, thats a lot! don't believe the hype!

I came back from the Dominican Republic yesterday, and I agree that this seemed to be the only drink the American's ever advertised!

I remember buying coke with lime last summer - not for me as it is all rot.

I also think dansani that is sold in US is bottle in US.

Dasani is bottled tap water. When launched in the UK it was found to have up to twice the legal limit of bromate, a potentially cancer causing agent.

They were already reeling because the British public were laughing at their attempts to sell mains tap water from Thames Water in Sidcup costing .03p at 95p per half litre.

The tap water, which was pure, had undergone a "highly sophisticated purification process", which just reverse osmosis as used in domestic water purification units, then they'd added calcium chloride, containing bromide, for "taste profile"; then pumped ozone through it which oxidised the bromide  into bromate.

No doubt they'll reintroduce it when they think we've forgotten about it since the yanks seem happy to pay a fortune to have Coca Cola bottle tap water for them.
