Childrens tv in the 90s

Two shows I have to describe:

Firstly, the intro is a large house that opens up showing a typical family, I think the teenage boy's room is shown as a jungle, there's an older teen sister a mum and a dad and I think a dog? I seem to remember the boy having somre sort of large spider?

Secondly... A show where when the child leaves the house and the toys come to live, I remember more than one bear and a giraffe and I think they lived on a shelf but also went into the attic.
