received a new key from scottish power today which i buy electricity for to put into the meter.
i registered this key in my leccy box,then went to the launderette to put leccy on it,they said that it was invalid and would have to go to a pay point shop,is this right.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.correct, most small shops will have one, i know nearly all co-op have them i would imagine most large food chains do as well, a lot of petrol garages do as well, keep a look out for the PP sign outside the shop its yellow with 2 black p's on it, you can also use these machines to pay for water, gas, council tax, t.v license, phone bills, oyster cards and the london congestion charge, there is quite a lot those little yellow boxes can do :)
