Java Applet out of date

I keep tabs on my daughter who works for P&O on the liner Ventura, by using the Ship'sTracker powered by Java. "Ths applet is out of date. Please clear your cache", came up when I clicked on it this morning.

Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

Note there is a section on answerbank called Technology, and in that are sections called "computers" and "internet".

As you have not got an answer yet you may be better putting your question in computers OR internet (but not both!).
