sound device not working....help

i recently downloaded bearshare and downloaded and listened to some music off it,,,n problems....but then i went to listen to music off my real player and there is no sound,,it says the sound device is not working and could be running in another programme,,i went back and completely uninstalled bearshare as im sure this was the root of the problem...but sound device still doesnt work in either real or windows media player.....also i can not restore my system to an earlier date,,its not letting me now....obvioulsly bearshare has caused all these problems and ive learnt my lesson not to use it...advice please............

restart the computer.

download the sound driver .

you may restore the computer in previous date.

you may also roll back the drivers .

only way is to installed the sound drivers again.

it will resolve the problem.
