Sad Mother's Day
46 Answers
Just would like to let some of the Abers I swap questions and answers with, who knew of my 83 year old mum, that she sadly passed away yesterday afternoon on Mother's Day.
We got an unexpected call from A&E, whilst out with my Fiance's mother, to say we needed to get there. I knew she'd gone when they said they were trying to resuscitate her, but there was no cardiac output.
I'd only spoken to her earlier in the day, when she told me she was fine and that her Tesco shopping had just been delivered. I'm especially sad she won't be there for my wedding in April and will never get to meet my baby, when he's born in June.
Treasure every moment with your loved ones, the years fly by so quickly.

Oh! Velvetee. I remember reading of your worries about the care your mother needed, and of how stressful it was for you as you are expecting a precious baby. It is so sad that you lost your mother on Mother's Day, but it is a blessing that she was able to stay in her own home, without having to go into care, and in her own words she was feeling fine right up to the last short while of her life. It's hard now, but in time you will be able to look back and appreciate that you did have a few precious words with your mother on the day she left you. Do take good care of yourself, she will always be watching over you. Deepest Sympathy. Schutz.
