Hi all...my natural colour is dark brown but I had blond put on the top and dark underneath my roots have gonr dark the rest is fine the hatrdresser wants �30 to do the roots....how easy is it to do it yourself thanks

I have always done my own colour usually light medium blonde. As long as you buy a pretty good one such as belle colour and follow instructions you shouldn't have a problem. But will be more difficult if you have a light colour on top and its just underneath roots of the blonde colour you are doing as it will be difficult to see where it is light and where it is dark. So in your case it won't be easy if you have 2 toned colours.
