What hedging is quick growing, attractive and easy maintained? Any ideas - not Lleylandi please.

try a Thuja
A berberis hedge can look lovely. Also keeps out intruders - but you need to be careful when pruning.

Berberis Stenophylla is fast growing as well.

what about Laurel or a copper beech
Cotoneaster Lacteus - Loose growing for first 2 years then a fantastic evergreen hedge, bright red berries in winter.

Prunus lusitanica - evergreen, slower growing

Eleagnus ebbingii - evergreen, fast growing.
