Windows update problem

My laptop continally offers a windows update several times a day. It's the same one ie KB967715. It's not installing properly for some reason.
Any suggestions for solving the problem. It's driving me nuts !

Download the file, double click on it to install it, then the problem should go away.

Thanks VHG. I think that has done the trick. The update shield hasn't appeared recently. I'll know better tomorrow, I suppose.

That download shield is back this morning ! I've tried the suggestion twice without any luck. Any other ideas ?

if you get the pop up of the windows update .
go to run type msconfig

disable the windows update service from the msconfig and the start up item . click ok and apply . do not disable any more services and the start u items.

you can also manually update the windows . turn off the windows update tab from the firewall.
