iv followed recipe for Andy Peters Banana loaf,it sayes 1tbsp baking powder!!!! my cake has just erupted in the oven is this the wrong amount. got the recipe from This Morning

Er, you did use plain flour, didn't you? Using self-raising would have led to the result you've reported.
