i would go to the doctors right away-i had that at 6 weeks pregnant and thankfully with bed rest in hospital i didnt loose my baby-good luck xx

according to a friend who recently miscarried it's a experience you can't mistake.  Terribley painful with a lot of blood very quickly.  I expect it's different in every situation but go to the doctors and they'll be able to tell you.  At the very least you should go because miscarriages *can* (although not all the time) effect your fertility later in life.

You must get to the GP soon. Any bleeding means that you must rest - something you have been short of lately by all accounts. You need attention immeditely in order not to miscarry. It's probably not too late to do something.
You could get a pregnancy test as the pregnancy hormone will not have disappeared that quickly so you should know if you are/were pregnant and can make a decision from there. It could just be that the stress delayed your period and you're having a particularly bad one if your system is upset.
