Drink driving second offence!
I have just been charged with drink driving for the second time. First time i recieved a 16 month ban for crashing into a hedge. This was 4 years 2 months ago when the offemce happened. This time i crashed into a foot bridge at around 3.am on sat night, i left the scene with my partner, we both had slight injuries from the windscreen. I blew 63mg the police arrested me at my house about 1 mile away about 2 hours after. I was interviewed admitted i have drove the car but couldnt remembr the crash otr getting home, i told police i had 4-6 pints throught the night before this happened but thought ok to drive. I have been banned before for 12 months for no insurance other than that, it was whats stated above. What is my likely sentence to be?

Can you say why the rest of us should have to put up with the possible consequences of that when you decide it is OK to drive after a binge session?
I think you should never drive again unless you become T-Total and remain so for a long period.
You seem to be only concerned with what might happen to you now. Sod the rest of us who might get maimed or killed because of your stupidity!.

No, percy, I do not study law.
Most of this stuff is available to the public if you know where to look. But I also have some dealings with this type of thing in the course of some work I undertake from time to time.
Glad I could help. Although I make my opinions known on AB when questions of opinion are raised, in matters like this (where a simple question is posed) I try not to be judgemental, despite my name!

percy:
I'm certainly not going to give you sympathy - not that you've asked for it - but I think that certain replies here are totally OTT.
I wonder just how "whiter than white" all those "outraged" people are? I'm not, even if drinking and driving hasn't been one of my "misdemeanours". Nor have I ever been arrested, but it doesn't mean to say I'm an angel, does it?
