Can I suggest that ALL users wi similar names to other Users contact the Tech Team to have themselves removed. You may then be able to re-register under an ORIGINAL name.

This Site is getting bogged down wi bickering and I have contributed to it this evening. This should be a friendly, helpful site where there can be a frank exchange of opinions without folk getting mis-led as to who really said what and when.

Can I also suggest the end of the petty reporting of Questions and Answers which leads to the automatic Temporary Suspension of users and increased frustration.

Hi Ed - Is it possible for you to change VinnyIoo imposter's username without him asking?  I got a question banned last night for pointing out that he's an imposter.  That's fair enough as it was the wrong channel to use.  It seems high time he was given a genuinely unique sign in.  Could you not bar him until he does it?  I actually don't mean it as a personal attack on him/her.  I just think that a lot of us are ignoring their answers (which may have much merit) because we don't like imposters on  this site.  Sorry to witter - just trying to be helpful!

that's a bright idea acw. It could possibly even be done by robots, along the lines of the Hotmail ones that say 'this user name is taken, would you like to try......?'

Cheers guys! *blushes*.  Glad you think so! :-)  I hope Ed won't think it's a nasty attack.  I hope (s)/he will realise, like you guys have, that most users on this site welcome input from anyone, we just don't see the point in trying to trick other users.  :-)
