A bit of both - I did always pick up trvia and spout it to anyone who'd listen and even those who wouldn't! I attended an all-boys' secondary school which had pretentions - gowns and restricted areas except 6th formers, so marital advice was not an issue, not that I had any to give at those times! I wasn't beaten up, but I came close many times - being a weedy type, I developed a fearsome speed of savage sarcasm which resulted in humiliation for the bully of the hour. Thank heavens for the AB - I can be as smart as possible, without fear of reprisal!

I'm playing the Starsailor album quite a lot at the moment, and I love The Strokes and Pink, the new Bowie, and I'm getting the Coral album tomorrow. I found an old comp. tape I made for the car, and that's got me back into The Beatles in a big way, and I can feel a Zepelin surge coming on, and I seem to be the only person who actually like Mick Jagger's solo album.
