Can anyone tell me what happened in the last episode?
Did Esther get it on with that luscious vicar Jake?
Please tell me she didn;t have her selfish prat of a husband back?
Have the scriptwriters left it undecided, in the hope of another series?
And isn't it unfortunate that the luscious jake is played by the actor Brian Dick? Bless him....

Yes Esther and Jake shared a kiss at the end and I think they will have a relationship. Michael has been left with loony Layla but it's a bit rocky now. Kyle and Grace get together. Esther's daughter returns to live at home. It turned out that Layla was Jake's sister. She corrupted Jake's friend Daniel who was training to be a priest. The two guys got drunk and went snow boarding and there was an avalanche and Daniel was killed. Jake blamed himself (and Layla) but then gave up drinking and became a curate. It was a fantastic series - not sure if there will be another but I think there's enough material for one. Let's hope so.

Esther and Jake kissed earlier in the episode which is what brought hubby to realise what he'd thrown away - he saw them and tried to fight with Jake - and then at the end she said to hubby "I don't want to have to decide now" so leaving it open for the next series. Why not watch it on iplayer to catch up yourself properly though? It was worth it!
