rash

my 8yr old was perscribed amoxicillin on mon, she has come out in a rash on her face, the doc said this can be normal when your ill, (nothing to do with the amox). what does anyone else think?

Without seeing the rash, difficult to say, BUT allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to Amoxicillin are well documented.

i thought the same but when i took her back to the docs he said the rash goes along with the chest infection, her rash is down each side of her face and is red and feels raised
