Seeing things...

Has anyone else seen what I just saw : in AB Suggestions you could search for ?s alphabetically using the (alphabet) buttons at the top of each page - I was trying it out and then pop! it all suddenly disappeared and it all became 'normal' again.

You have reassured me, Vinny, but why didn't anyone else see it and if they did why has nothing been said? Is this The Big Plan being put into action (whoops, 'scuse the English!) instead of Page Numbers and other such suggestions?

The first time I found AB it was because I was searching about partridges on the web.  I clicked on a link from AB and it had the alphabet across the top of the Animals and Nature section.  I saved it to favourites and always got in with the alphabet showing.  When I saved again to the home page that was the last I saw of the alphabet.  Very strange.  That was last August!!

Anyway Artful, it proves that you are not going mad!

Ah, FP, you and VINNY are certainly putting my mind to rest and I should sleep well tonight but I think it's time for ABEd to get his act together and put something into (not nevesarily 'tinto', didwot, but it is pink!) and explain the 'phenomenon'. I did wonder if it was the techies seeing what could be done re finding a ? on the site - sthg that was being sought on a thread lower down.

Why not click on 'Contact' on the AB Home page and ask your question to ABEd or technical ( the contact page gives you the facility to do this).  Maybe you weren't under the influence after all if FP came across it once. I must try to get round to that.

I have just done some clicking on All Answered (at the bottom of each thread or at the top of each list of questions) and  page.  This produced pages with the alphabet across the top.

Could this have been where you were when you saw it?

Oh Marsh, what a loverly ABer you are - that is absolutely wonderful, if I could rate you more than 3 stars I certainly would so will a big, big hug do? I have just looked - I must have unwittingly clicked on All Answered - as I never have before, at least not up until then. Yes, voil�, it answers all. VINNY that means we don't have to go into hospital and play marbles!
