Is IE8 ok now?

Does anyone know if IE8 is ok to download and install now,or is it still troublesome?
Have been holding off as it was quite buggy when it was introduced.Have not heard of any recent reports.

Mine is working fine but only download it via Windows Updates as it has been launched officially now by Microsoft.
Some users downloaded the trial version and they are having problems. Since its release there has been an Update for it which you will receive via your Windows Updates so do everything from there.

IE 8 works fine but some plugins make it crash.

Before upgrading uninstall all software that has anything to do with browsing or spyware protection. Get the latest installs for this stuff and reinstall them after the ugrade.
