For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.well i am having some sort of problems,my son has got mixed up we the wrong crowd and goes to this pirate radio twice a week im worried ,he may get caught by police so i would love someone to just stop the broadcasting.since hes been doing it hes started drugs ,seemes to have changed him.
why do you ask?
Leaving aside why you want to know who to report pirate radio stations to the answers are 1, the police - it is a criminal offence. Or 2, Ofcom the communications industry's regulator. If you click on this link you should find the address that you want: http://www.ofcom.org.uk/radiocomms/ifi/enforcement/ilb/#content
Hope this helps...
Good luck with all of it. I don't mean to sound negative, especially as I think that reporting crime is a very sensible and honourable thing to do, but I'm not sure it'll solve the problem long term. The crowd may find something else to do. I hope not and that your son works out for himself pretty quickly that these "friends" are not good for him. Good luck!
Zadoc - it's illegal and often interferes with perfectly legitimate broadcasting. It is also often used to further other illegal activities. That's MY problem with it. I'm not exactly a campaigner on the matter, but since it's mentioned, I shall say why I disagree.
Good luck Ms Hale :-) I'm sure it'll all be fine!
