Just tell me which town and which route she is taking and I will avoid it. ...LOL
At least you won't have to drive her here, there and everywhere anymore. Think of it as a relief Janet xxx
Don't worry... she passed... she's competent...

You could always give her a call? ;-)
Yes.
But give it about 5 years
TT fortnight just stared on Island...Daughter gone to Douglas...Me worried?? Nah I like my fingernails chewed.

my daughter is 18 next week and is due to start driving lessons next month so im getting the butterflies
scary but the fact she passed should be heartening! at least she does know how to drive safely! the worry should lesson over time, well done her!!!!!!!
Wait till she takes you for your first spin in it! You'll be crunching your bum cheeks! Eventually, it becomes a pleasanter smoother ride x

Snaggs - would call her, but didn't allow her to take her phone, so she didn't have any temptation to use it or answer it!!!
Tiggerblue - suppose when you look at it like that, you're right.....time to call in all favours owed then, she can take me here, there and everywhere, or she can become the designated driver!!!
hold on a cotton picking moment... you must have passed your test at some point (presumably) and did you consider your mothers angst?! If she's passed she's fine.. just enjoy the fact that 'Mum's Taxi Company' is now out of business!!
Janet not wanting to add to your worries but next time let her take her phone - what if she breaks down on a country road?

Sure she'll be ok the first time I went out after I'd passed I didn't go far just out to my friends to really prove I'd passed!!!
