Did the World Trade Center have it's own subway station? Was sure I saw something about it on a telly documentary once. If so, what has happened to the subway line that served it?

yes, a subway ran through it. it was reopened about a year and a half ago. i never took it - i always went by cab so i'm not terribly familiar with it.

Was there last October and a visit to the site meant you could actually see the subway train when it would previously been underground.

My mum went there last week and said you can still see the trains running,through the big hole.
