I live in the east of london and fancy going to a good market tomorrow.

Does anyone know of such a thing within about an hours drive?

Not St Albans or Bury St Edmunds (both very good markets but been to both recently).

Thanks

You've got one of the best markets in the country right on your doorstep:

Sara you are right I do love St Albans.

I only found the lake behind (sort of) the Cathedral recently and it is lovely to do some shopping and then get a sarnie and go down there to chill out.
Thanks, Chickadee.

I don't give up that easily! ;-)

If you like bric-a-brac markets, Hemel Hempstead has a great one every Wednesday during the summer months. (I've driven to Hemel Hemstead, from Suffolk, on several occasions just to visit the bric-a-brac market). Tomorrow is the first one of the year:

For a general market, the indoor one in Luton is pretty good:

You are a star!!

I seem to remember going to the Luton one many years ago (so long ago I had forgotten it existed!!).

The Hemel Hempstead one sounds good. Might try that.
and if Hemel is rubbish, it's not too far to St Albans!
