How has your day been?

I am lovely and relaxed now as I had a day of pampering and some retail therapy.

I have enjoyed cocktails with the "girls", (mine were non alcoholic which is a bit of a shame, but still liked them).

What have you been up to today?

Slept til gone one after having horrid headache last night. Now bored and fed jup.

Started finding out that a job I applied for - within my present company - that I really wanted, is not mine, not because someone else got it, but because the vacancy has been withdrawn! Spent four hours fuming my way into a headache and then ...

one of my Editors rang and asked me if I'd like to cover the Montreal Jazz Festival for him - four days in Canada, all paid, so the day ended a lot better than it started!

I had a very busy day at work. Got in at 7.30 and didn't finish till gone 5. I was supposed to leave work at 4 but I had some urgent stuff to do. Oh and then I walked home from work which took me 50 minutes.

I'm definitely leaving work at 4 tomorrow!!!
