Aaaah an interesting thread this is.......
Oh yes, although I didn't like school much,I did enjoy my time messing around with all the other kids I used to know.
I still remember most of them and picture their faces in my mind. They were definitely the good old days.
Sadly,my secondary school has now been demolished.
I was really saddened when the announcement was made to demolish it.There was nothing really seriously wrong with the school. It did have a few flaws in the school which I thought could have been repairable.
At least my old primary school still stands.I loved that old school. It's now a residential place.
To answer your question though,I was no way a bully, nor baddie, nor a swot.Although I was quite clever in the music/maths/geography/english departments.
I was once a prefect at one time too.I remained a neutral person which meant I wasn't a swot/bully at all.
I was only picked on once by a bully,on the first few days in school. He was notorious for picking on the smaller first former boys.He actually didn't abuse me much. All he did was ask for my dinner money, and my friends dinner money, and then surprisingly he kept my friends money and gave mine back.I remember him saying that I looked a cute kid,and he wouldn't pick on me again.
I thought....wow... me cute...nah....surely not!!
:-)

LOL
There were just one or two beastly girls at my school. One day, we got one of them on her own, buttoned her blazer, got one of those long poles for opening high windows, pushed it through the arms of her blazer, and hung her up between between two cupboards. We made sure she knew she had to stop being such a cow.

Just to add a further comment to my previous post.
I would just like to say that I still remain a neutral person, which means I never take sides to anyone.
I just say what I say and thats that.I am also a laid back kind of person.
I still remember all the classrooms in the school too.
Oh yes,I also remember these two girls who I am sure fancied me,or maybe one of them at least.I think one of their names were Sharon, but not sure of the other girls name.Anyway,it was in the playground when they started to become a bit frisky, and they tore away part of my shirt.
They started laughing and I thought for one minute they were going to tear it all off, until they realised their mistake.
The torn bit was hanging down so luckily it didn't get torn right off.I think they said sorry, and ran off.One of my mates saw what happened and lent me his jumper so I could do the rest of the lessons without getting into trouble with the teachers......what a nice gesture I thought....phew!!

Oh yes,I remember one time, when I was in the arts class, and we had an american lady called Mrs Coombes, and the only trouble I had one day was when during the beginning of the lesson,I whispered something to my class mate, and amazingly somehow she called my name and told me to get out,and not to talk while she was talking.I thought, how the hell did she hear me,she must have had ears like Dr Spock to hear what I said....
I was totally gobsmacked as I left the room.
I'll never forget that day.
