Have spoke to parents, one fine the other abusive. Thinking of putting rat poison on stones !!!!!! Am contacting SS about concerning behaviour of one boy who throws young kids in front of oncoming cars. His mum was the abusive one and obvioulsy not monitoring his behaviour, he is about 9. When I spoke to his mum she was in bed (4pm) had door locked and chained and was abusive. Her son was out running amok and she wasnt keeeping an eye on him. This is exactly how children go missing or are groomed by abusers as they know there is no parental supervision
Hi Pinktwink, I would definitely go for the SS to sort them and also call the police as there is cause for concern of the safety of the child whose mother is in bed at 4pm and not keeping an eye on him. Thing is she would have enough to say if he went missing. Go for it If you get the police involved the SS will have to do something . Also the SS need usually three complaints before they will act so try to get someone else you know to phone them and the police would be the third source. Good luck .

Sorry, I thought you were involved in SS yourself, that's what made me think you were having a laugh when you mentioned SS in your initial post.
No, I agree with your concerns about what may befall the kids without proper supervision. We've had the paedos discussion recently and of course you must act in the best interests of the kids. Especially after the mother's very negative attitude towards you.
People sometimes need a wake-up call (no pun) to make them realise the dangers.

You probably shouldn't put Rat Poison on the stones, incase the brats' die, then you would probably be held liable.
I despise these parents who always defend their children's bad behaviour, no wonder the kids behave like that. Do you have a separating wall and gate? Perhaps you could build the wall higher between the two properties and place a notice on the gate saying "Private Property"?
You could contact Social Services, but they sound like a pretty scummy family, who will probably suspect you and retaliate. However, it's a bit worrying these young thugs throw other kids in front of cars.
