Shift Rota

I am trying to create a shift rota to cover 24x7x365 using 3 shifts (of 3) currently I use 4 shifts working 12 hr days / nights but need to rationalise to 3 shifts but still support the same hours!...any suggestions?

You can buy software but I assume you don't want to.
