I'm sure there ARE fat people - pretty much anywhere in the world. A "Chinese" diet may not fit with your metabolism. You could walk the equivalent distance of the Great Wall of China - that would help. Might be an idea to do it in stages - say 30 minutes of walking 4 times a week. Good luck though.
they seem to eat small bowls of food..and that is probably why they are slim..we go every month to a cantonese restaurant where we are usually in a very small minority of british people the rest are chinese..they have different menus and when they get their food its mainly vegetables or things that look odd..whereas mr daisy insists on having two portions of egg fried rice with whatever he orders..and he tucks into a mountain not a small bowl..he ordered 3 portions once and even the chef came out the kitchen to see if he could eat it all..he did..the waiter said you cant have 3 portions its to much you wont eat it but we reminded him we were paying not himself..
I have noticed that some chinese that arrive slim in my country are soon holding onto bits of fat appearing on their body. These people are the ones that start eating the typical western diet plus junk foods. I saw a program once on sumo wrestlers and it showed that they were deliberately well fed, but can't remember on what.
All the diet "experts" say that we eat too much, as we tend to finish everything on our plates and end up feeling too full. Eating more slowly helps your brain to register that full feeling. Eat with chopsticks out of a small bowl for the same effect. The different diet helps the Chinese to stay slim, too.
