The research was done independently for the EHRC by the Institute for Public Policy Research who are well established and respected organisation.</i.
The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) is a left-wing UK think-tank with strong ties to the Labour party.
Perfect bed pals!!!!
'You scratch my back and I will scratch yours', comes to mind.

"as it is you who constantly refers to the numbers"
Really? That's a new one on me.
However, Gromit, given that your normally unerring grasp of stats has temporarily deserted you, I've had to go myself! (Not good enough....that's your "bag"!)
Anyway, the true figure is likely to be in the region of 3/4 of a million.(and rising daily).
That's an awful lot of people to be at large on our small island allegedly claiming absolutely nothing from the state if the likes of you and jake are to be believed. Let alone the many thousands already known to be seeking entry. That must make it over a million, at least?
The bad news, though Gromit, is that the vast majority of us are not as gullible to swallow those erroneous claims that the situation ain't that bad. Correct: it's a damned sight worse.
It's glaringly obvious that these people must be surviving with state aid. I don't think somehow that they're holding down plum jobs and ploughing stupefying amounts of money into the British economy.........at a rough guess, of course!

Do we really need a set of statistics and organisations to mislead us into a wrong conclusion. Unless your cocooned in Chelsea or live amongst the Westminster set then mixing with people in the real world is enough to form an opinion.
You don't just take one year into consideration but a decade of experiences to see how Britain has changed. If you ignore this you are living in cloud-cuckoo land!

That's an interesting guess, but that is all it is, a guess. You cannot prove it just as I cannot disprove it. I could post numberous links that say the true figure is 300,000, but they too are only guesses.
Anyhow back to the EHRC report. According to the Daily Mail on the previous page link, 400,000 homes have gone to people born abroad (legal immigrants), yet you are claiming 750,000+ illegal immigrants are living in them?
Your figures don't add up.
