MM and KM Links July 2009 [Week 2]

Good Evening both MM and KM Linkers. This is where Crofter traditionally launches the Links Games.

Of course, he's away up North to give away his niece. Give away? I'm sure he could get more for her on 'Bargain Hunt'!

Well, seeing as he's away, the mice may play, but you need a secluded spot for your revelry - so what better place than the 'Shrubbery'? The gates are now open and those entering are trusted to remove all evidence of their visit - No empties ladies, No magic mushrooms (S), and in particular, No owl pellets (Strix).

This is now week 2 in the reign of Queen Julia of the Links (better known to us mere commoners as "Jools"). Tomorrow, she will be setting four link words for us to guess their partners.

In recent weeks, the bonus points (in the MM Game) have been snapped up within minutes of the launch so remember to set your partner's alarm so that you are kicked out of bed in time to participate.

The MM Links Game starts tomorrow morning here in Q&P with an introduction at 8:45 am and then the words to be linked will be posted in the same thread at 9:00 exactly (if the technology co-operates). The results and winners will be declared as usual at 7 pm on Sunday (this week by gen2).

The sister came called the KM Links is launched earlier on Saturday morning by Seekeerz but there is no rush there since they have abolished bonus points and you have until midnight Sunday to guess those (results Monday morning).

New entrants to either of these games are always welcome, so log in and pit your wits against Kate Mepham (for the KM Game) or against Queen Julia of the Links (for the MM Game).

Hi all, won't be able to do links in morning as I am helping at the Georgian Market in Lichfield. I have done a tombola for the local hospice so from 8am onwards will be in the Close setting up the stall and then hopefully selling all the tickets.
I didn't have a "First Dance" at my wedding as it was an afternoon do and then we went off on honeymoon, but at my daughter Nicky's wedding (9 years ago last Wednesday )she had their song played, then both sets of parents were invited onto the floor and the music changed to Geoff and my special song, which was this

We went to Llandudno....and got on the wrong train, and ended up in Liverpool!!!!
Reg did ask which platform the train was going from with confetti in his hair!!! I still reckon they were having a laugh on us!

We went to Clarach Bay in Geoff's boss's caravan and it rained and everything was shut !!!!!
As I said I am doing a tombola, well just bought all prizes downstairs, numbered and in order and then suddenly realized I haven't folded the tickets up !!!! I have over 1000 raffle tickets to fold !!!!! OK you wouldn't expect anything different from me !! LOL
