McAfee free trial

My new computer came with McAfee free trial antivirus package which has now expired. I don't want to renew but need to uninstall it before putting another one on, I can't find anywhere that allows me to uninstall the package. Can anyone tell me how to uninstall it please. Kath

Go into Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs then look for McAfee. If you can't do it that way you may have to go onto McAfee web site to get uninstall details. I had to go to Norton website to remove Norton from my machine. Hope this helps.

I have been to control panel and there isn't an add or remove programs only an add hardware program.

How much does the completeuninstaller cost as it only says it's a free download not a free program.

use the mcafee removal tool ... why would you bu@@er about with third party software ... go straight to the fountainhead
