It's great for ripping parts of a song out and saving it as a separate file - I use it for making my own ringtones.

I don't think it lets you use wma files though, so you need to convert them first.
I use a programme called "Switch" to convert any wma files (I usually convert them into mp3 - but you can choose what format you want to convert them into).
